Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to work on data engineering, analytics, client implementations, and AI-driven healthcare applications within the Skypoint platform. This role involves building scalable data pipelines, developing analytics solutions, collaborating with customers, and contributing to modern AI-powered healthcare products.

This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work closely with engineering, product, analytics, and client teams to deliver impactful healthcare technology solutions.

Location: Remote (occasional travel to the Bangalore office based on business needs)

 Responsibilities

• Coordinate with client vendors to obtain credentials and access for various data sources and configure data ingestion into the Lakehouse platform.

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading healthcare and operational data.

• Perform end-to-end data validation including row counts, KPI verification, aggregations, and source-to-target reconciliation.

• Design star-schema data models and contribute to Power BI semantic models and DAX measures.

• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and KPI reports across operational, financial, clinical, and marketing domains.

• Manage report publishing, refresh schedules, and row-level security in Power BI Service.

• Strong expertise in Data & Analytics with advanced Power BI skills, including designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

•  Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights through data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.

• Experience working with large datasets, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering executive-level reporting and KPI dashboards is essential.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on application development and data-layer integrations.

• Assist with API-to-data mapping, data integrations, and QA validation of data-driven applications.

• Serve as a point of contact for assigned customers for requirements gathering, data walkthroughs, implementation discussions, and post-launch support.

• Leverage AI-powered tools and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability.

• Contribute to scalable healthcare AI and analytics solutions within the Skypoint ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Strong experience with SQL and data transformation

• Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboards, reports, and DAX

• Understanding of data modeling concepts including star/snowflake schema

• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data workflows

• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and cloud-based data platforms

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external customers

• Interest or exposure to AI-powered analytics and modern AI tools 

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Ability to create executive dashboards and actionable insights by integrating data from multiple sources.

• Experience with Lakehouse or modern data architectures

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or modern cloud data platforms

• Experience with healthcare analytics or healthcare datasets

• Prior experience in analytics engineering, BI, implementation, or data engineering roles
