Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to support data validation, modeling, and dashboard development across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, build Power BI reports, and contribute to scalable data solutions. This role offers hands-on exposure to modern data platforms, ETL processes, API integrations, and AI-powered analytics, making it ideal for someone passionate about data and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end data validation — comparing source data against landed datasets, verifying row counts, aggregations, and KPI accuracy before reports go live.

• Design star-schema data models and maintain DAX measure libraries within Power BI semantic models to power dashboards and AI-driven analytics.

• Develop interactive Power BI KPI reports across operational, financial, clinical, and marketing domains, managing publishing, refreshes, and row-level security in the Power BI Service.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on application development, providing data-layer expertise, assisting with API-to-data mapping, and contributing to QA of data-driven features.

• Leverage AI-powered tools and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability.

   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Strong experience with SQL and data transformation

• Hands-on experience with Power BI (reports, dashboards, DAX)

• Understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema)

• Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines

• Familiarity with API integrations and modern data platforms

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients

• Exposure to AI-powered analytics tools

   

Preferred Background:

• Experience with Lakehouse / modern data architectures

• Exposure to cloud data platforms

• Prior experience in analytics or BI implementation roles
