Position Overview
We're a Series A company on a clear path to a Series B raise, and we're looking for a Chief of Staff to sit at the center of that journey.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to level up their career. Our ideal candidate has sharpened their analytical edge in consulting, investment banking, or similar, and is ready to step into a strategic role at a fast-paced startup and lead our Series B preparation.
You will work directly with the CEO and Executive team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Operations, to own company-wide strategy and execution related to our Series B raise. From maintaining the financial model, investor materials, data room, and board-level communications, you will go beyond the raise, to drive the business operating cadences, cross-functional programs, and provide analytical rigor that help leadership move fast and make good decisions.
What You’ll Accomplish
In your first 3 months, you’ll…
Chief of Staff & Strategic Execution
- Support CEO and VP Finance in preparing board decks, investor updates, and leadership materials
- Improve executive meeting rhythms (weekly exec, quarterly planning, annual strategy) by building structured agendas and follow-ups
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive cross-functional alignment on high-priority initiatives
Series B Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Lead data room buildout and manage staged disclosure protocols for LP and investor diligence
- Develop and maintain investor-ready financial materials: models, KPI reports, scenario analyses, and supporting schedules
- Prepare board decks, investor updates, and quarterly reporting packages, including writing the narrative, building the slides, ensuring every number is defensible
- Support CEO in board meeting preparation of pre-read materials, agenda management, follow-up tracking
- Serve as a primary point of contact for investor diligence requests and ensure materials are complete, compelling, and current
Analytics & Financial Intelligence
- Prepare and maintain budgets & forecasts across revenue, headcount, and opex plans, keeping data accurate, up-to-date, and board-ready
- Help teams build realistic budgets that support growth while championing operational discipline
- Build executive dashboards and expand internal BI reporting capabilities
In your first 6 months, you’ll…
Strategic Finance & Fundraising
- Take full ownership of the company financial model, incorporating sales pipeline, pricing, packaging, margin, and hiring assumptions
- Track and analyze KPIs & unit economics to inform decisions and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Lead data room buildout and ensure investor diligence materials are complete, accurate, and compelling
- Develop executive dashboards and expand internal BI reporting capabilities
Chief of Staff & Strategic Execution
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, turning high-level strategy into clear operating plans
- Own quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring alignment across Product, Clinical, and GTM teams
- Lead or coordinate special projects tied to growth, operational efficiency, partnerships, or new initiatives
- Increase accountability across leadership by tracking goals, OKRs, and cross-functional commitments
- Serve as connective tissue across departments, ensuring communication, clarity, and execution velocity
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Have 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, strategy, consulting, investment banking, startup operations, or high-growth tech environments
- Are comfortable operating as both a strategic thought partner and a hands-on builder
- Know how to build complex models from scratch that are easy to understand and explain to non-finance audiences
- Have strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives
- Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building structure where it doesn’t yet exist
- Possess exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills — you dig into the “why” behind the numbers
- Communicate with clarity, confidence, and empathy across all levels of the organization
- Take ownership, move with urgency, and care deeply about outcomes
- Are energized by working directly with senior leadership on high-stakes initiatives

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $115–155k
