Job Description Summary:

The Production Lead coordinates daily production activities, leading and supporting production team members to meet quality and productivity targets while ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Lead and coordinate production team activities to meet daily goals

·         Train new production staff on equipment operation and quality standards

·         Monitor workflow and adjust team assignments to optimize productivity

·         Perform quality checks on finished products

·         Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems

·         Communicate production status and issues to Production Supervisor

·         Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures

·         Maintain a clean and organized production area

·         Provide hands-on support during peak production times

·         Track and report production metrics

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

·         2+ years of production or manufacturing experience

·         1+ year in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred

·         Strong knowledge of production processes

·         Ability to train and motivate team members

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Strong attention to detail and quality standards

·         Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

·         Effective communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred

·         Experience in apparel or textile manufacturing

·         Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to stand for extended periods

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

·         Good hand-eye coordination
