Position Summary: Gear Up is seeking a motivated manager to lead our art/decoration teams as we continue to grow and evolve as an industry leader. You will create and strengthen links between sales, art proofing, model building, art ordering, and production in support of our quality and velocity goals. You’ll manage team performance, capacity, and quality through example and coaching. You’ll work closely with our front-end operations team as well as sales and production to deliver on time for game time and drive ongoing process improvement.
Hours: Expect 45 to 50 hours per week. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the Art Proofing Team – Work queues and priorities for bulk proofs, logo uploads and model approvals, program proofs, brand marketing projects, escalation and problem solving.
- Manage the Decoration Supply Team – Work queues and priorities for back-ordered art, bulk and web/DTA requests, logo management, escalation and problem solving.
- Take ownership and accountability for art team results and performance.
- Drive collaboration with production and art with regards to decoration standards – callouts, exceptions, model approvals, etc.
- Work with our technology team to integrate our decoration knowledge into our tech solutions.
- Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to leads.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Work cross-functionally to reduce waste, resolve issues, and lead/support projects.
- Support company-wide implementation and adoption of new technologies and capabilities.
- Gather input, write and deliver employee performance evaluations.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Education:
- At least 5 years experience in high volume print production and/or like environment.
- At least 1 year experience in supervisory role(s)
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (Pen Tool) and Acrobat Pro
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with other Creative Cloud tools a plus
- Basic working understanding of image resolution, file formats, compression, etc.
- Experience in vectoring art and working with vectored files.
- Experience in data entry
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Experience coaching and correcting team members.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to learn and navigate new processes and computer applications.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
