POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you’ll manage both pre-construction and on-site activities, ensuring the successful execution of
projects while fostering innovation and sustainability. If you're passionate about construction and technology,

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Pre-Construction Activities:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and procurement
strategies
• Facilitate competitive bidding processes and assist in bid selection
• Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience and cost-
effectiveness
• Manage construction project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings and change orders.
• Track pre-construction project revisions and communicate changes to relevant parties
• Collaborate with internal Estimators and Project Engineers to complete project buy out and develop the
Construction Package

Construction Management:
• Maintain accountability for the project scope, schedule and budget to ensure the on-time and on-
budget delivery of construction projects to include regular reporting to the VP of Construction
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure a mutually beneficial
partnership and strong adherence to project specifications and quality standards provide relationship
management
• Maintain accountability for ensuring project quality and completion of all Quality Control Inspections
• Manage the Built Green and Earth Advantage certification processes.
• Provide direct management and mentoring for project Site Superintendents
• Engage with and maintain excellent Client & Owner’s Representative relationships
• Demonstrate leadership in your relationships with fellow team members, Site Superintendents, Site
Supervisors, on site labor, Subcontractors and Clients
• Maintain accountability for ensuring site safety and cleanliness
• Occasionally assist in the preparation of claims for additional payments and facilitate communication.

Innovation and Improvement:
• Stay current with the latest trends and construction technologies.
• Seek opportunities to enhance project efficiency and implement sustainable practices.
• Participate in training workshops and seminars to advance technical skills.

WHAT YOU BRING:
• 10+ years’ experience in the role of construction project manager, managing new, single and/or
multifamily new construction projects
• Relevant educational background in Construction Management, Engineering or Manufacturing highly
preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project scheduling and project management, including the ability to read,
understand, and develop the construction project schedule
• Experience with cloud-based Construction Management software (ie. Autodesk Construction Cloud)
• Experience using online communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
• Proficiency in the remainder of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize project data from diverse sources.
• Aptitude for learning new technical and sustainable building practices and software
• Demonstrated understanding of health and safety practices in residential construction.
 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel as needed.

POSITION AND HOURS:
• This is an exempt, salaried full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
• Flexibility is key, with occasional work required outside standard office hours to meet deadlines or attend
meetings and special events.
• Embrace a hybrid work model with time spent working from home, on the jobsite and at our SODO
Seattle office. Hybrid work schedules depend on the needs of each channel.
• Regular travel to project sites, local jurisdiction offices and events such as meetings, seminars or training
workshops is required.
• Physical activities include frequent and repetitive movement, prolonged periods of sitting, standing,
bending, or kneeling, and transporting materials up to 30 lbs.
• Work environments vary, from outdoor sites in different weather conditions to indoor loud shop
settings with varying temperatures.
