Position Summary: Gear Up is seeking production team members who are eager to learn and work in a collaborative environment to meet production goals while adhering to high-quality standards. Team members will be cross-trained in multiple facets of the production process (Pre-Production/Filtering/Pressing/QC/Shipping).
Primary roles include:
- Pre-Production/Filtering – Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.), verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork.
- Pressing – Interpreting order paperwork. Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments. Operating textile heat presses.
- QC/Shipping – Verifying that finished product matches customer orders, packaging and preparing orders for shipment and interacting with our shipping software.
Available Shifts:
- Standard Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Standard Swing Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (10% shift differential)
- Overtime will be required during peak production seasons.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret sales orders and other written instructions.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Energetic and motivated.
- Ability to learn and use computer systems to input and verify information.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb OSHA approved rolling ladders
