mpathic is looking for a full-time Commercial Sales Account Executive to join our team. This role will report to Kirsten Schaub (Fractional CRO) and Grin Lord (CEO, founder-led sales).

In life sciences and clinical trials, mpathic offers specialized solutions through its innovative products, mTrial and mConsult. mTrial, a digital stethoscope for trials, provides state-of-the-art quality assurance and enhances trial management using automated monitoring and analysis. mConsult leverages AI-assisted empathy to optimize patient engagement and reduce drop-out rates. ABOUT YOU:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Sales Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and building lasting relationships with life science sponsors. As a Commercial Sales Account Executive, you will contribute to the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, understanding client needs, and effectively communicating the value of our Empathy AI solutions.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target potential life science sponsors through research, networking, and industry events.
  • Generate and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Log leads in Salesforce.

Client Engagement:

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our Empathy AI solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' challenges and objectives to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation, pilot, closure and hand off to customer success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of solutions.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and pilot clients to ensure customer satisfaction until hand off to customer success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and guidance when needed.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the life sciences sector.
  • Utilize market insights to adapt sales strategies and product positioning

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Prior familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the life sciences or technology sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • A passion for technology and a keen interest in the life sciences industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary:

Salary is dependent on experience. Following our Equal Pay Commitment, we have salary banding and established vesting schedules for equity.

The first year of this position will emphasize stability as the cadence for repeating sales is established, and thus will reflect higher-base salary (e.g., 80% base 20% variable ) and will move to a different OTE split (e.g., 60/40 or 50/50 OTE) in 2025 or post-Series A when sales are consistent to ensure greater upside for the salesperson. This position receives commission on new business, not contract expansion or renewal.
