National Channel Manager at Bigleaf Networks

What You’ll Do:  

The National Channel Manager is responsible for maximizing the value of our Master Partner program.  This strategic leader will create business plans focused on increasing revenue and will continually follow up on those plans to ensure execution and results.  This role represents Bigleaf with our Master Partners.

  • Create comprehensive framework for managing strategic relationship with targeted Master Agents
    • Annual Business Plans
    • Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Responsible for driving growth and adoption of Master Agent/Sub Agent initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between Bigleaf’s Channel and Operations teams and similar teams of the Master Agents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing, launching, and supporting strategic alignment plan with objective of expanding partnership; teams to include Marketing, Sales Engineering, Training, In-Region Channel Managers, and Product teams
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Forecast and report key metrics and growth and lead ad hoc projects focused on the strategic growth of the partnership
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements
  • Deliver effective relationship management through regular strategy meetings and quarterly business reviews with C-level audiences Conduct impactful QBR’s with meaningful and measurable action items, as well as follow up


  • Minimum of 7 years of previous Channel Sales experience
  • Proven success of building strong relationships and partnerships with large Master Agents within the telecommunications industry
  • Demonstrated track record of recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, growing, and retaining a successful group of channel partners
  • Proven history of designing a comprehensive national partner business plan
  • Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities and accurately forecast revenue
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
  • Minimum of intermediate understanding of company financial measures and advanced understanding of telecommunications industry and indirect sales model
  • Excellent presentation skills before both small and large groups
  • Ability to quickly establish productive working relationships and promote effective teamwork both internally and externally
  • Successful sales experience with Channel go-to-market company
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Travel (up to 40%)
