Sales Manager at TrovaTrip

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing Creator team here at TrovaTrip. The Creator team finds new customers (Hosts) to onboard to our platform where they plan, sell and host once-in-a-lifetime group trips with their community.

As the Sales Manager, you will be accountable for hitting sales targets by successfully managing your team of 6-8 direct reports. You'll collaborate across departments to improve existing processes and provide ongoing training and support. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and creative leader with a track record of exceeding goals.

Accountabilities

  • Recruit, hire and train new Account Managers and Business Development Representatives
  • Set monthly and quarterly sales goals for the team
  • Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new customers
  • Assess processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and implement
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team and participate directly in all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Provide professional development and ongoing training for the sales team
  • Monitor individual performance through observation and measurement, suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Inspire and motivate employees on a daily basis and bring innovation to the sales process to help accelerate our market growth trajectory
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales
  • 2+ years in Sales Management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience using a CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Planning, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strong experience selling SaaS and/or Cloud solutions
  • Experience using Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Experience using Asana
