ESS is hiring an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support our sales organization by qualifying and responding to inbound sales leads and conducting outbound sales efforts. This role is critical to the success of the sales organization and requires a motivated and dedicated individual with a sales focused mentality and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.

What you’ll do at ESS.

  • Qualify inbound sales leads through a variety of methods established by ESS, including company research, introductory calls and meetings, email correspondence, etc.
  • Distribute qualified sales leads to the Sales team to further the customer journey and sales process
  • Enter all customer information into CRM tool
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to maximize both outbound and inbound sales efforts, develop targeted sales strategies, and ensure all qualified leads are followed up on in a timely manner

What you bring to the table.

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role (inside sales, sales support, sales analytics, etc.)
  • Experience in a customer facing role in the energy sector
  • Comfort and ability to communicate with prospective customers via telephone, conference calls, e-mail and in-person meetings
  • Ability to respond quickly in a developing and fast-paced company
  • Demonstrated ability to present information via web-conference tools, PowerPoint, etc.

What we’d love to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Relevant experience in the renewable energy/ energy storage sector
