THE ROLE


As Product Manager at Amplion, you'll be responsible for representing the customer in developing the product roadmap and detailed requirements for data and products.. You'll lead a  cross-functional team of customers, executive team stakeholders, subject-matter experts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure strategic goals are met. One of our core values at Amplion is to WOW Customers and this role will be instrumental in ensuring we deliver on our vision of accelerating the realization of precision medicine in the Life Sciences industry.

 

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Lead customer discovery.

  • Develop product hypotheses and the experiments to test them.

  • Develop product roadmaps based on a systematic discovery and testing methodology.  

  • Obtain approval for the product investments represented by your roadmap.

  • Partner with cross functional team members to decompose the roadmap into detailed requirements.

  • Gather and analyze detailed product and market requirements.

  • Decompose product initiatives and features into detailed requirements and user stories.

  • Analyze product/technology gaps and make buy/build/partner decisions.

  • Conduct customer/stakeholder interviews to discover problems in the market and validate urgent problems to show their pervasiveness in the market.


PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Intimate knowledge of the marketing and sales personas in the Life Sciences industry.

  • “Lead” level skills at customer discovery, hypothesis testing, and roadmap development. 

  • 3+ years product management of data products.

  • 3+ years product experience in the biopharma ecosystem
