The Role:

You will be leading marketing projects and creative production across teams that span sales, marketing, product, people and customer success. Success in this role will look like consistent project execution that is on-time and on-budget. And as the first project manager on a fast growing marketing team, you will help define the process and tools that will enable this team to reach that success by producing a high volume of quality work, very efficiently. 

You will be the glue that keeps our design and content machine coordinated and focused and our demand generation team full of strong creative to continue to reach our audiences and grow quality lead volume. You will also be a conduit to our creative support of our product marketing and sales functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Kick off and manage creative projects from concept to launch.

  • Select and implement the necessary tools to support our creative production process, at scale.

  • Establish strong processes for executing internal marketing team projects, as well as projects that make originate from sales and product marketing.

  • Build intake briefs and processes to effectively understand the needs and execute the deliverables, and ensure they remain relevant and support our process as we grow.

  • Manage the creative production process from kick-off with the appropriate team to programming the final deliverable at launch.

  • Set up relationships within the marketing team and across key collaborators that enable team members to be proactive in their roles and produce high quality projects.

  • Excel at all the typical functions: build workback schedules, understand and manage creative teams capacity, align projects and work with priorities.

  • Managing the backlog of requests and ideas, facilitating alignment with priorities and capacity.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a marketing/creative producer or project manager.

  • A non-stop drive to deliver quality that exceeds expectations.

  • Excellent leadership and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and facilitate decision making and solution to efficiently execute complex projects.

  • A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking and problem solving.

  • Experience leveraging the best of agile and software development principles in a marketing organization, such as backlog management and utilizing tools like Kanban to ensure the team is aligned and prioritizing appropriately.

  • Has evaluated and implemented project management tools specific to marketing and creative teams and established processes to make the tools and teams work efficiently.

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, complex and changing environment.
