Role:

You are a dynamic product marketing leader who enjoys working strategically across all the public facing aspects of a product. From the messaging required to build product brand and presence in the market through the collateral that drives performance in the sales pipeline, you will develop thoughtful and interconnected strategies and product communications to drive adoption and growth. How our products look, sound, and feel in the market will be your focus, and success will be defined in terms of product adoption, sales win rates, and customer success.

You will take ownership of the strategic side of communicating a suite of products (4 software platforms) to the market as well as the lead role in developing the messaging and materials required to fulfill those strategies. 

In order to unlock effective output volume and velocity for the organization, you will build a product marketing and sales enablement team that aligns with the range of product stories to be told and the variety of customers to be served. Your team will be the engine for product go to market communications across customer acquisition, sales, and customer marketing.

As you manage the deployment of your strategies and materials across functions including sales, marketing, and support it will be important to think in systems and create top-to-bottom frameworks and practices that can scale as the company grows and drive repeatable success. 

You will take a leadership role within the Product organization and captain the department’s collaboration with Marketing to ensure organizational alignment across Product and go to market communications. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product messaging frameworks and strategies across Brandlive’s product portfolio (Events, Showrooms, Greenroom, and Allhands).

  • Build out and lead a product marketing team that executes your strategies in alignment with customer segments, products, and business growth goals.

  • Partner with the Product organization to create a marketing-led process for product development and release.

  • Study the market and form distinct positioning strategies for each of the Brandlive products relative to competitors and market forces.

  • Partner with sales to lead creation of end-to-end messaging and materials that drive success across each stage of the pipeline.

  • Lead the development of materials that carry important product and value messaging through to customer via the support organization.

  • Contribute to overall go to market strategy from a communications, strategy, and growth perspective.

  • Create and maintain a collection of collateral, materials, and messaging in a format that empowers all team members to speak confidently and consistently about our products.

  • Develop frameworks for product messaging and communication by outcome (awareness, demand gen, sales, success, etc) that allow for consistent quality at scale.

  • Know when to lead and when to take direction in order to maximize go to market effectiveness.

  • Provide insight to the Product and Marketing teams on how to improve and align with core Product value messaging.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years working with software or SaaS products in digital video communications or related industries.

  • 5+ years of product marketing, communications, product management, or strategy experience.
