We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to work on a diverse and high-performing team that's making a difference. You'll work with modern technologies, including a multi-platform application architecture, asynchronous network software, clinical ontologies, and mobile platforms. You will specifically work with a team that is responsible for designing, validating, implementing, and iterating on features that aim to better our overall approach to patient care.

You will:

  • Actively contribute to development on product teams and participate in code reviews for other engineers

  • Work across multiple product teams and with our design systems to understand the needs of our end-users

  • Collaborate with product teams to translate design concepts into innovative UI/UX solutions with the right mix of design, technology, and strategy

  • Work collaboratively with clinical content, product management, and design

  • Respond to incidents, working hand in hand with Support and Operations

  • Learn about new concepts, languages, frameworks, and connectivity with medical systems

  • 2+ years of hands-on development with React, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Have worked collaboratively on design systems and component libraries

  • Experience working with products that are WCAG 2.0 AA compliant and accessible

  • Experience working with product designers and UX engineers to craft maintainable applications

  • Experience working with back-end technologies

  • Willingness to take ownership of a project and show your leadership skills

Would like to have:

  • Experience migrating AngularJS to React

  • Experience with continuous delivery

  • Knows one or more system languages, with a preference for Python

  • Experience using CI/CD build pipelines

  • Excellent understanding of metrics, monitoring, and alerting as they relate to the application and the creation of reliable systems

  • Advanced understanding of HTTP API architecture, including async and streaming
