Bright.md is seeking a VP of Marketing to assume responsibility for leading the company’s marketing effort through its next phases of growth as the leader in care automation. Bright.md’s AI virtual care platform is transforming the nature of physician-patient interactions - saving time, reducing costs, and reducing variation in care while improving adherence to evidence-based care and best practices.

 
Bright.md seeks a proven, dynamic executive to lead marketing strategy, develop compelling product marketing, drive cost-effective demand generation and shape the company’s story to healthcare delivery systems, physicians, industry analysts, media outlets, and patients. The role will be tasked with leading and building a talented marketing team and driving marketing initiatives. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Refine and own Bright.md’s marketing strategy to build and enhance recognition and awareness of the company product solutions and brand in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. Shape compelling, innovative messaging and positioning that resonates with buyers, users, and industry stakeholders
  • Work with product and engineering as a product champion ensuring that the market needs are aligned with the technology roadmap, capitalizing on short term product differentiators while influencing strategic product decisions
  • Create a compelling digital marketing strategy that delivers SQLs. Develop targeted lead generation programs, lead qualification, and scoring, marketing automation applications, funnel metrics, and reporting that achieves quarterly new lead generation objectives
  • With sales, define, plan, and execute an account-based marketing strategy that yields meetings within defined strategic accounts. Develop rapid test plans and monitor performance results for multiple customer acquisition channels in order to measure, report, and optimize marketing campaigns
  • Design and execute a communications strategy across public relations and analyst relations which builds on and elevates existing relationships and our current product leadership position
  • Grow content marketing programs including webinars, white papers, case studies, and blog posts. Develop compelling healthcare provider and physician case studies and references
  • Design and develop a high performing marketing team that is digital-centric, curious, agile, and excited about using technology to create programs with measurable outcomes. Manage external vendors (writers, PR agencies, creative agencies) and hold them accountable to meet and exceed marketing team goals
  • Act as and be seen as a respected company spokesperson with customers, media, and analysts
  • Lead a quarterly marketing review with the executive team that includes programs and results, key learnings, and recommendations. Develop and manage marketing budgets, and expenses, create and share a reporting dashboard with meaningful metrics tied to specific marketing programs

 
Skills and Experience 
  • Ten plus years or more of B2B/Enterprise Product and Marcom experience, including five years or more in a marketing executive role with a demonstrated track record of driving meaningful and measurable results
  • Strong product champion experience partnering with the product and engineering teams to align product specifications with the target market needs
  • Strong strategic thinker with an ability to assess industry and technology trends, competitors’ positioning and capabilities, and customer requirements to develop thoughtful marketing strategy; experience translating marketing strategy into an integrated strategy for product development
  • Naturally strong communicator, effective one-on-one and in front of larger groups; previous public speaking experience; lucid thinker; intent listener; gifted writer; prior experience authoring marketing or product collateral, leading webinars, interacting and building relations with customers and partners
  • Previous experience directly leading or overseeing effective digital demand generation programs; effectively define criteria for a ‘qualified’ lead and implement lead nurturing programs incorporating campaign design, utilization of marketing automation and other tactics to produce a steady flow of SQLs
  • Prior experience hiring and leading capable marketing teams; working with marketers to build their skill base and grow their capabilities
  • Experience selecting and hiring outside consultants and agencies that best align with the needs of the company at different stages of growth
  • Data-driven, using all aspects of the marketing mix to uncover information, connect the dots, and gain actionable insights that drive improved decision making
  • Proven ability to pivot as needed adjusting marketing strategies and programs
