Implementation Coordinator at Bright.md
Portland, OR, US

We're making healthy happen faster! Bright.md helps primary care providers deliver remarkably efficient, high quality, asynchronous virtual care, improving provider efficiency by as much as 90%, increasing care quality by 2x, and delighting patients and providers with a new experience of care.

Much more than “telehealth”, we build products that bridge the communication gap between patients and providers, automating the remote care delivery process for clinicians at major health systems. This unique approach means that we enable a 10x reduction in cost and provider time, markedly better clinical outcomes, and major improvements in both patient and provider satisfaction.

We are seeking Implementation Coordinators with demonstrable experience executing complex projects who are ready to partner with healthcare delivery systems large and small to build out their SmartExam program. We offer autonomy, accountability, and mission-driven colleagues who care about making an impact. This position is full-time, located at our HQ in Portland, OR.

About the role
As an Implementation Coordinator on our Customer Services team, you will be responsible for guiding our new customers through SmartExam onboarding, as well as working with existing customers to implement upgrades and enhancements. This position will require you to navigate smoothly between a variety of domains - you will be responsible for ensuring that all technical, operational, clinical, and marketing components of the project are executed on time and on budget. You may not be expert in all (or any) of these areas coming into the role, but you’ll be expected to learn quickly - think steep learning curve, which we hope is an exciting prospect.

You may be a fit for this role if you:
  • Have a history of academic and professional success.
  • Are interested in working at the intersection of technology and healthcare - two complex and highly distinct industries.
  • Collaborate well with a diverse set of colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Have strong project management skills and can coordinate many moving parts towards a common goal.
  • Demonstrate careful attention to detail and are able to quickly distill complex information down to the key components necessary to drive action.
  • Are highly self-directed and comfortable in managing ambiguity and responding to evolving business priorities.
  • Are skilled in cross-functional, verbal and written communication--explaining situations, processes, and decisions to customers, internal leadership, and other teams.
  • Are persistent in overcoming obstacles and ready to engage in creative problem solving.
  • Are willing to travel 10-25%.

To do well, you'll need to be highly organized, have exceptional communication skills, and a strong sense of urgency. We're looking for someone who eagerly seeks responsibility and isn’t afraid of a challenge. This role requires you to be a critical thinker, and a leader for healthcare teams with varying levels of expertise. You’ll need to be able to break down complex processes into easily understood issues that can be triaged, tracked and resolved.

You'll draw from a wide range of skills; leading customer calls to drive decision-making, writing professional-grade documentation, and coordinating internal resources around key milestones. You’ll play a key role in building the processes others will follow, while collaborating closely with your adjacent teammates. You’ll work closely with a Technical Integration Engineer who will manage the under-the-hood system configuration, as well as marketing and analytics experts who will provide subject-specific expertise and guidance to your customers.

You’ll likely need a BA / BS with 2 - 3 years of prior project management experience. Preference will be given to people with a project management background in healthcare or healthcare IT, but we believe that talent is more important than training or specific knowledge. If you’re a self-managing, curious person with relevant skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Our team is dedicated to leading the industry into the future of healthcare delivery.

We're glad that you're interested in being part of a team that's driven to make a difference. On top of that, you'll be working with a team that knows how to have fun and supports all aspects of  living. We play games in the office, run company-sponsored races together, have team lunches, picnics, and happy hours, and host celebrations for milestones big and small. We value volunteering - big groups and small make time to support our community. We also recognize that life doesn’t fit neatly into boxes, which is why you’ll sometimes see furry companions under desks and small children curled up on bean bag chairs.
