Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications and Content Leader! You will need to have solid business writing skills, a life science background, and experience with writing about software solutions. 


You want to own the voice of an exciting, mission-driven organization that is well-positioned to have a big impact. You love segmenting and profiling customer personas to identify their unique pain points. You easily understand complex software solutions and can align the value of the solution to audience pain points. You are an excellent writer and capable of writing clear, concise and compelling copy that maps clearly to each unique persona.


You will support our effort to market Amplion’s platform and inform prospective customers on the business benefits and value proposition of our platform and the challenges that we solve.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Research and develop customer personas across a variety of industry subsegments

  • Research and recommendations to align our messaging to very nuanced and inconsistent industry lexicon

  • Develop a wide range of marketing communications including: website landing pages, thought leadership, sales collateral, email campaigns, case studies, solution overviews, etc.

  • Develop and execute on a content calendar for our inbound marketing efforts, including reports, case studies and research insights

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer challenges and develop content that aids in customer understanding and user on-boarding, adoption, and satisfaction

  • Understanding customer needs and success with a metric driven approach



  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing within life science or pharmaceuticals

  • Strong experience with website copywriting and thought leadership content

  • Experience developing a broad range of marketing and sales materials 

  • Able to understand and communicate with a diverse set of business customers, ranging from Biotech entrepreneurs to Fortune 100 executives

  • Strong experience with writing presentations and/or blog posts in life science (or related field)

  • Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and funnel optimization

  • Strong understanding of campaign design and execution



    Relocation to Bend is not required. Remote team members are welcome.
