Urban Mobility Startup seeks Performance Marketing Manager at Moovel Transit

we are John, Daniel and Laura and we are looking for a new team member in our performance marketing team! Our team consults and works closely with our global partners, e.g. in the areas of user acquisition or app store optimization, and as the number of projects is increasing, we need strong support in the team. This exactly brings us to the point why we need you! We need a proactive team member who builds and fosters strong partnerships on the one hand and who sets up and optimizes performance marketing campaigns on the other.

We act as a partner for cities, transport networks and mobility service providers with the goal of making cities smarter and creating an operating system for urban mobility that provides access to appropriate mobility options in urban areas and paves the way for the future with autonomous vehicles. Currently, 280 employees work in small creative teams in Germany and the US at four locations - Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Portland.

What the new role will involve 

Since we are a small team, you get a lot of responsibility right from the start. We are working closely with our US colleagues to create global partnerships - and share our experiences to get better every day. To give you a brief overview, we have selected some of the tasks we would like to entrust to you immediately:

  • Set up and optimize Google Adwords and Facebook campaigns
  • Control and report marketing activities and budgets for your channels and products
  • Identify valuable user acquisition channels by analyzing in-app user behaviour and optimizing the funnel
  • Increase the conversion rate of our products by optimizing the app store presences of our products
  • Work on ad-hoc analyses to lay the groundwork for strategic decisions
  • Pitch new marketing features to be integrated into our apps
  • Plan and discuss marketing activities with our clients globally

About you 

  • Degree in business, marketing, business informatics or a related field
  • At least two-year- work experience in the field of online/performance/mobile marketing
  • Passion for learning about urban mobility, multimodal platforms, and emerging disruptive technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Good German and English language skills
