we are Florian, Magnus, and the Places and Search squads. We are responsible to provide great place search and data quality regarding public transport time schedules and real-time information. Which means: If you search for a destination in the moovel apps, for trips and departures, you rely on us. We constantly improve and challenge ourselves in the team each time again to make the overall experience of our apps better. We want to improve the quality and user experience even more! Therefore, we are looking for another team member to join us and help us to uncover the problems that end users are confronted with.

How the role works
We are a small team of gifted product and tech people, who develop a great product with cutting-edge tools and technology. We love and know well about technology, but we want to learn more about our end users. Do they think of the TV tower when they search for Alex? Or do they think of the restaurant? Can they trust in the public transport schedule or is it most of the time wrong? We need someone who analytically collects their point of view, considering local differences. You will establish and lead processes to collect and analytically process feedback from customers, you crowdsource feedback from customers in all cities we provide and will provide our app. We need someone who loves our customers all over the world and gives them a loud voice in technical and product discussions.
Some of the things you will do
Collaborate daily with Development and Design and Product to ensure that quality standards are met
Develop and implement a QA process for the development of our backend services including data quality assurance aspects
Establish, drive and lead processes for local, crowdsourced user acceptance and data testing
Interact with external testing suppliers and manage their results
Work closely with international development and product teams to derive and interpret business requirements
Create detailed reports and help development teams to fix customer issues
Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar qualifications and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in working in an agile development environment
Proven track record in testing and assessing quality of backend services, underlying data
Proven track record in user acceptance testing
Good knowledge of management systems such as Jira, Confluence
Experiences with design thinking and crowdtesting suppliers are a plus (e.g. Applause, Testbird)
Hands-on technical experience with data analysis and databases is a plus
