Content Marketing Specialist at IOTAS

As a Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for creating, setting up and actively managing content for our digital marketing efforts across the organization. This includes managing content on our corporate website, social media channels, outbound marketing and content utilized within our Marketing Automation Platform for all associated audiences.

What you’ll be doing:


Create, manage and maintain our digital content strategy and editorial calendar.


Manage IOTAS social media programs and report on them regularly.


Create, edit, proofread, approve and publish new content while ensuring it meets standards of excellence.


Ensure online content supports SEO goals, our brand standards, web style guidelines, legal, and compliance requirements.


Deploy exemplary content within the design and functionality of the website as applicable.


Manage regular review of digital content with subject matter experts to ensure content remains accurate and current.


Support content publishing across all digital communication channels including email, mobile, SMS, and other integrated channels.


Source content that’s relevant to IOTAS customers and share across appropriate social media channels.


Amplify IOTAS messages, industry news and information through research on trends, educational content and thought leadership.


Leverage social media to support industry events and tradeshows by engaging attendees, increasing booth visits, and disseminating thought leadership via trade show hashtags and channels.


Develop and support a best-practice blog program, including writing blog posts, leveraging internal subject matter experts for deep and engaging content, inserting effective calls to action for lead conversion, and effectively promoting the blog posts through appropriate channels.


Establish a well-developed process and cadence of content, designed to drive not just increased followership, but active and recurring engagement.


Be the public voice of IOTAS, which requires listening, responding and asking questions to engage with the audiences.


Provide diligence in testing and quality assurance of all digital tools and related posts to ensure proper grammar, presentation and style, and overall appropriateness for the target audiences.


Work under the guidance of the VP of Marketing and collaborate with the Marketing Manager to support the delivery of content strategy through all digital channels.

Experience and Qualifications:


Proven content producer in a fast-paced, digital environment.


Demonstrated experience administering an enterprise-level social media and CMS presence for an established brand.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


Highly collaborative and effective at building trusted relationships.


Ability to clearly communicate and present findings/recommendations.


Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Strong background in digital marketing best-practices including subject line efficacy and UI/UX.


Self-motivated with an enthusiasm to explore and take action, with strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills.


Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript strongly preferred.


Working knowledge of SEO tactics and standards.


Basic Adobe Photoshop knowledge and skill in optimizing imagery for the web and mobile devices preferred.


Curiosity and a willingness to learn from others.


Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.


Ability to clearly communicate and present findings/recommendations.


Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Must be able to make sound judgment decisions and know when to ask their supervisor for assistance.


Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner


Education/Experience:


BA or BS in a related field; or equivalent work experience


3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining and customizing Content Management Systems, and all social media channels.
