The SDK team at Auth0 owns the open-source libraries that provide platform integration with our Authentication
APIs. As a member of the team, you will work on changes related to security, performance, developer experience, and documentation to ensure a frictionless integration experience for both new and potential customers. In the process, you will gain a great understanding about how identity works while learning more about authentication, authorization, OAuth, OpenId, and the Auth0 product as a whole.
The vast majority of the work we do - feature implementation, bug fixes, code quality, documentation - is done in public, open-source repositories. As such, most of your day-to-day output - pull requests, code reviews, documentation - is associated to your GitHub profile. And, since we serve a community of developers, we’re always challenged with writing the most clear, tested, and documented code we can.
In addition to serving our external customers, we also work closely with other Auth0 teams to help resolve tickets, assist with integrations, and make our core product even better through internal issue reporting. Since our work is often the first thing a potential customer might see (anyone can sign up for and use Auth0 immediately), our team gets a lot of exposure, both inside and outside of Auth0.
