This position is responsible for the generation of new sales opportunities by developing and executing strategies to meet Bright.md performance goals for client meetings and engagement. 
 
Identifying, prospecting, securing and nurturing business opportunities to support new client acquisition for Bright.md on a regional and national scale, are at the core of the role. The Sales Development Rep (SDR) is often the first point of contact for prospects, engaging potential clients to drive company growth and expansion. The SDR works to create, develop, and nurture key executive-level relationships for the Company to build, fill and accelerate the sales pipeline. 
 
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
 
§  Creatively engage and nurture prospective clients to generate opportunities for productive, progressive education and information sharing, leading to high quality meetings for assigned sales team partners

§  Assist in growing our sales pipeline through lead generation, inside sales activities via development of “client intelligence”, tele-prospecting (40-60 calls per day) and high value content engagement with key influencers, stakeholders and decision makers.  Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and owns the follow-through with the lead prospect 

§  Appropriately qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions

§  Deep prospect research and account mapping, identifying key stakeholders, influencers and decision makers using a wide variety of sources, tools and creative leverage of our portfolio of reference clients
§  Able to identify and rank opportunities with prospective clients and prioritize effort based on Bright.md business objectives

§  Exploit lead/demand generation strategies that include inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.  Fully participate in top of the funnel campaigns through calling and email efforts.

§  Handle inbound inquiries generated from demand creation activities such as advertising, trade shows, digital channels and the like.
§  Provide first-hand feedback and recommendations on our marketing efforts based on direct experiences with potential clients. Active participation in cross- functional campaign teams to help fine tune and align focus, actions and messaging

§  Provide consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications to continually enhance our position with prospects and in the market
§  Effectively communicate and present Bright.md solutions and value propositions to prospects

§  Works with marketing and other partners to communicate and escalate topics, and with the sales team to make them aware of resources, collateral and other key information.
§  Demonstrates a commitment to our category by staying educated on the competition, our product solutions change, innovations and trends.

Capabilities and Qualifications
§  Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of successful experience in business-to-business prospecting, client development or selling.
§  Prior lead-generation or cold calling experience.

§  Assertive, persuasive, and persistent but still a great listener

§  Quick on your feet in adapting your pitch to your prospect’s needs
§  Comfortable in a dynamic and competitive environment
§  Experience with SFDC and a detail orientation
§  Self-motivated and able to focus on primary tasks and avoid distractions
