Hey there,

we are Nathalie, Lisa, Julia, Nicole and Thorsten from the People & Organization Team. Together we are responsible for all topics regarding the employee life-cycle from employer branding, recruiting and onboarding of new hires to the daily support of our employees as well as the support for our leaders. We are looking for a teamlead and -member who shares our vision of an agile culture in a corporate startup environment - so join us in building a workplace of the future in an innovative urban mobility company.

First a quick look at us: People over process

moovel is part of a large global corporation (Daimler AG), but at the heart of it we are a start-up. We act as a partner for cities, transport networks and customers with the goal of making cities smarter and creating an operating system for urban mobility that provides access to appropriate mobility options in urban areas and paves the way for the future with autonomous vehicles. Currently, 250 employees work in small creative teams in Germany and the US at four locations - Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Portland.

Some of the things you will do

Innovative products need innovative people, need innovative workplaces... but this is a challenge! On the one hand, we need to take care of some basic HR processes (everybody wants to have her/his pay slip, of course ;)  ) and administrative stuff and on the other hand we want to leverage the agile culture and ensure flexibility and openness to change. So you will:

  • Ensure and overlook all the basic People Operation processes together with us from recruiting to employee development
  • Always challenge the status quo and empower us as a team - but always with a strong solution-orientated focus
  • Leverage modern people management methods and ideas
  • Lead us as a team (of recruiters, people operations and development) and don't be bothered of our way of having fun at work


About you


  • You always strive for the best solution and are not satisfied with plan B (but you have one.. just in case...)
  • You developed an own idea of people operations and modern HR in an agile environment
  • "Let people grow and empower them" should be a guiding leadership principle of yours
  • You are used to modern ideas of building a culture of trust and agility with lean, simple but stable HR processes

In summary, we are looking for a new teamlead to shape the future of mobility with us, ensure modern people management processes and continue to build a great corporate startup culture with us.
