CrowdStreet’s platform extends beyond the fundraising of a deal to cultivating and growing lifetime value for the sponsor through building, managing and expanding ongoing investor relationships.

To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Sales Engineer, reporting to the Director of Sales, with strong technical and interpersonal skills to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work with sales teams to interpret prospective customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end-goal of sales in mind.

  • Collaborate with the product team to to ensure the product demo environment is continually updated and new features and enhancements are highlighted in product demonstrations

  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.

  • Provide answers to prospective customer questions about our product, servicing, and other technical aspects of the product.

  • Successfully tailor demonstrations for customers, trade shows, and special events.

  • Work closely with the prospective customer to set up and maintain a successful demo period; be available to answer questions and troubleshoot as needed.

  • Work with the prospective customer and sales team to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales process.

  • Provide feedback to the team for process or product improvements as required.

  • Serve as the lead on training/demonstrating the technical side of the product technology to the sales team

  • Additionally, in this role, provide additional sales operations support including sales tool and document support (Salesforce.com, workflow documents, etc).

What We Must Have

  • Bachelor's’ degree from an accredited university

  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineer role

  • Strong combination of technical knowledge of product & interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, sales cycle and how to support both to successful outcomes

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with accounts in technical environments

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Not Required, But Nice to Have

  • Experience in commercial real estate industry

  • Experience in leading demo’s and training on a  software as a service product
