Customer Account Manager at NurseGrid

The Opportunity:


We are hiring for a Customer Account Manager to join our growing team. You will play a vital role for managing all aspects of relationship management and for strategically partnering with NurseGrid’s customers. This position requires advisory level input for the implementation project team and monitor progress to ensure the success of the ongoing deployments of our NurseGrid products.


As a Customer Account Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders in various departments such as Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Training, and Product/Project Management teams to expand our solutions and to develop customer accounts. The right candidate is a strong communicator, is detail-oriented, and has a history of over performance in quota attainment and development of customer accounts.

Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of NurseGrid’s products

Provide proactive support to customers and prospects

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Achieve sales support quotas by qualifying prospects

Conduct needs assessment calls with specific prospects

Schedule online product demonstrations

Facilitate activation, growth, and retention of our NurseGrid solutions

 Lead efforts in generating customer references, referrals, and testimonials from our customers

Ensure NurseGrid’s success in the retention and growth of account revenue

Ensure customer success in maximizing the value of NurseGrid solutions

Consult with clients in defining collaboration goals, success criteria and program strategy, to ensure the customer perception of value that leads to sales renewal and expansion

Represent VoC in product development and user experience design

Develop account plans with Account Representatives




What you’ll need:


3 + years of proven track record selling SaaS

Experience in managing customer relationships and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment

Strong relationship builder and natural problem solver

Knowledge of CRM software packages

Formal understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling

In-depth knowledge of NurseGrid’s products and services, their functionality and applications in customer learning and development initiatives

Understanding of the different steps involved in a sales cycle and must know how to leverage each state in the sales cycle to advance the sale

Ability to work with multiple functional departments and roles to manage customer life cycle from implementation to renewal

Excellent ability in analyzing opportunity for cross-sell and up-sell potential within existing books of business

Proven ability to prospect and manage a designated territory to maximize revenue growth

Ability to manage multiple relationships within an organization

Strong relationship-building and consulting skills

Operates with a sense of urgency and has a positive, winning attitude

Excellent written/verbal communication skills to interact with senior level corporate management

Willing to travel periodically based on customer and business need


What we'd like:


Existing knowledge of software in the healthcare space

Experience in SQL or database management

Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating executive meetings and workshops

Proven experience with account planning

Effective at leading executive discussions

Skillful experience using Gantt charting tools, Kanban tools and online collaboration tools such as JIRA and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho, and Intercom
