The Job:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is accountable for the financial, accounting, budgeting and risk management operations of the company, including the development of financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. This position will be responsible for reporting details of financial operations to the German shareholder, while also having direct supervision of the VP of Finance, Audit Manager, and the indirect supervision of all employees in the accounting and finance department. The CFO reports directly to the CEO of moovel NA and has a dotted-line to the global CFO of moovel Group.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Develop financial strategies
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes and ensure all departments responsibility execute to their budgets
Partner with People & Culture and other department heads on personnel resource planning
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Supervise SSAE 16 Audits and participate in other key compliance and audit focused activities
Advise on financial matters as it relates to contracts moovel may enter into
Manage risk thru Business Continuity Management
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Manage the accounting, finance & procurement departments
Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
Implement operational best practices
Oversee the flow of funds into and out of the organization
Oversee partnership relationships
Develop and maintain financial operations that are consistent with our SOC I (SSAE 18) audit responsibilities
Other duties as required by the company
Required Qualifications and Skills:

12+ years of progressively responsible roles in Finance and Accounting
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience partnering with Executive Leadership teams
Results oriented, strategic thinker and planner
Knowledge of basic accounting, budgeting and financial planning software
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Transit or transportation experience
Experience with a mobile or SaaS product
CPA and/or CFA
Ability to speak or desire to learn the German language
Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, etc.):

Quarterly travel to Germany required; roughly four weeks total per year
