The Solutions Consulting Director is a leadership role based in Portland, OR, responsible for driving Opal’s Solutions Consulting capability by focusing on the development and delivering of a world class sales solutions consulting practice. You will be responsible for developing a best in class solutions consulting program and ensuring excellence in delivery across sales engagements. You will set a high standard for excellence and lead your team in continuous innovation to help customers maximize the return of their investment in Opal solutions. You will recruit and develop a team of best in class Solutions Consultants and manage performance while contributing to sales success through direct engagement and relationships with prospects and customers. In this leadership role at Opal, you will collaborate with a smart, passionate team who are committed to building a world class organization through developing operational excellence and delivering meaningful value for the most innovative brands on the planet.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a successful solutions consulting program in conjunction with sales and company leadership designed to increase sales effectiveness.
Understand the needs of the global sales organization, and effectively collaborate across the organization to ensure successful sales engagement experiences.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Opal Platform capabilities, solutions, ecosystem and marketplace in order to craft high value solutions and ensure success for prospects and customers.
Assign and manage resources to sales opportunities aligned to company revenue and sales objectives.
Develop team members according to the demands of the business and aligned with their professional goals.
Develop and maintain a recruiting pipeline of potential solutions consulting candidates to meet future demands of the business.
Develop and deploy a solutions consulting enablement curriculum to meet the changing demands of the sales organization
Evaluate team members regularly through analysis of direct observation, ongoing peer feedback and additional feedback across sales and related functions.
Skills & Experience:

Minimum 4 years of successful B2B Marketing SaaS solutions consulting experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead a successful solutions consulting team and capability.
Ability to articulate and effectively communicate concepts with technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing technology and enterprise software landscape.
Superb communication and organizational skills.
Passion for teamwork and engaging communication skills a must.
Bachelor degree in relevant field required.
