Office Assistant at Moovel Transit

The Job:

This position is hands on and always on the go. You will be a valued member of the operations team working with moovel North America’s office building and vendors. Your primary duty involves keeping the office stocked, assisting with coordinated events, along with administrative tasks, and ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. A strong candidate should feel comfortable completing all tasks big and small. This role is responsible for everything from organizing and tidying the office to coordinating and executing large company events. This position is nonexempt and reports directly to the Operations Lead and is based at the Company’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Role Responsibilities:

Reception duties includes answering and routing phone calls
Shipping, receiving, and distribution of packages
Distribution of office mail
Welcome and check-in guests
Stock, clean, and maintain common kitchen areas
Ensure conference rooms and public spaces are tidy and presentable
In-office catering: ordering, set-up, clean-up
Assist in preparation for in-house events and ensure tasks are assigned as needed
Order and organize office supplies
Review, evaluate and select vendors
Provide facility management
Assist with preparing workstations for onboarding
Desired Skills and Experience:

2+ years of administrative experience
High school diploma or GED
Embodies the team player spirit we thrive on at moovel
Customer service oriented
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable with expense reporting and procurement
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel & Word)
Nice to Have Skills:

Purchasing, inventory management, and event planning

Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects
