Technical Advisor to the CEO at Moovel Transit

The Job:

The Technical Advisor’s primary duties involve counseling the CEO on strategic initiatives and providing insight and analysis for key decisions. This position will attend both internal and external meetings when the CEO is unable to attend, be responsible for business functions which have no clear owner, and facilitate cross-departmental communications and meetings. A strong candidate should feel comfortable challenging assumptions and providing insight to problems before they happen. This position reports directly to the CEO and is based at the Company’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
2+ years in a business consulting role strongly preferred
Previous experience advising the CEO of a tech or transportation firm strongly preferred
Ability to operate with a high level of ambiguity and autonomy
Deep interest in public transportation and/or general transportation and mobility
Highly analytical and quick decision maker
Effective verbal and written communication
Exceptional organizational skills
Proven ability to create dynamic presentations via PowerPoint
Excellent working knowledge and experience in the Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides) as well as Microsoft Office
Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, etc.):

Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects
Travel up to 10-20% of the time
