Senior Product Designer at Cloudability

Cloudability is building industry defining products at the intersection of cloud computing and finance. We’re looking for a product designer to join our team in Portland or Boulder. Our product team works closely with product management and engineering to design solutions that solve how customers make sense of their cloud spend strategy.



Responsibilities

Distill complex requirements into features that are incredibly simple and elegant

Deliver designs rapidly while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail and consistency

Manage the full lifecycle of product design from sketches and wireframes to visual design and functional prototypes

Play a lead role in the design of new features related to our core product

Lead presentations and discussions with product management, engineering and executive leadership to drive resolution on proposed features and functionality

Review implementation and documentation to ensure accuracy of desired results

Develop a strong partnership with product managers and engineers

Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality



Requirements

7 or more years of applicable product design experience, which may include work as a user experience designer, product designer or information architect

A BS/BA in design or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Solid understanding of the user-centered design process and best practices from research to final design

Deep experience with information design, data visualization, and analytics

Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting, giving and managing constructive criticism from various stakeholders

Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and SaaS application architecture

Experience with B2B software product design and engineering

Excellent communication and presentation skills

A team player, flexible and open while designing, discussing, and presenting your work

A passion for learning, sharing and collaboration: new design tools and processes, new technical areas, better ways to get things done
