Founded in 2013, CrowdStreet’s technology solutions provide real estate investment managers (sponsors) a scalable platform for growing and managing a large investor-base. We are transforming real estate investing by creating universally accessible, transparent, and efficient markets. While our competitors are positioning themselves as online versions of institutional funding, we’re the only major provider delivering a comprehensive online funding and investor management solution. CrowdStreet’s platform extends beyond the fundraising of a deal to cultivating and growing lifetime value for the sponsor through building, managing and expanding ongoing investor relationships.

To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring an experienced Account Executive with a demonstrated track record of successfully selling vertical-specific solutions and an excitement for working in the commercial real estate technology field. This is a new position as we continue to expand our sales team, and reports to our Director of Sales.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will sell our SaaS and Marketplace solutions to CRE investment managers in your territory, discovering your customers’ needs, diagnosing their pain points and educating customers while using your strong ability to continuously pivot our value proposition based on the buyer's needs. As online investing for private real estate industry is new and rapidly becoming a competitive field, your demonstrated full-cycle consultative sales experience will be essential to ensuring our prospective and existing customers know that CrowdStreet is the ultimate partner to help them execute their online fundraising strategy.

What We Must Have

3+ years as a full-cycle account executive selling complex vertical-specific solutions targeting new accounts, including pipeline development, customer education, closing deals and growing existing customer business.

Experience selling SaaS *OR* commercial real estate.

If SaaS, experience selling to the Finance and/or Real Estate industry.

Experience with advanced sales automation tools (i.e. Salesforce).

Ability to travel up to 10%.

Excitement about CRE and working in a fast-growing startup environment!
Not Required, But Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Outside/Field sales experience.

Understanding of private real estate investment firms - how they think, act and invest.

Experience with selling a Marketplace solution.
