To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring an experienced, hands-on Director of Sales with a demonstrated track record of success to lead our sales efforts, manage our inside sales team, refine our sales process and partner with leadership to accelerate the achievement of our aggressive revenue targets. This is based at our Portland headquarters and reports to our VP of Business Development.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be tasked with scaling our Sales organization to the next level, using your strong leadership skills to grow the team, coach and develop existing sales staff, and achieve sales goals.

A strategist and analytical thinker, you’ll define then improve our sales processes and methodologies, design plans to achieve sales goals, and create metrics and reports which you’ll manage to key objectives across demand generation, lead management, pipeline development, and revenue generation.

A hands-on director, you’ll manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. Using your strong people management skills, you’ll meet with your team regularly to ensure cohesion, collaboration and best practice sharing, coordinate sales training programs, participate in sales calls as necessary to support both the professional development of your team and overall sales success, as well as establish and oversee highly motivating, results-producing sales staff compensation and incentive programs.

Furthermore, as a member of our leadership team, you’ll collaborate cross functionally with Marketing on demand gen programs, with Business Development on key strategic partnerships and accounts, and with our Investments team to bring high quality sponsors to our Marketplace.

What We Must Have:

3+ years inside sales team management (B2B, SaaS).

5+ years selling complex vertical specific solutions targeting new accounts.

Experience selling in Finance and/or Real Estate sectors.

Experience developing/implementing/scaling sales processes & methodologies.

Experience with advanced sales automation tools (i.e. Salesforce).

Not Required, But Nice To Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Field sales experience.

Experience with selling a Marketplace solution.
