DevOps Engineer at NurseGrid

NurseGrid is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help lead and support expansion of our platform infrastructure and capabilities. They'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to provide highly available, secure and production-grade systems.

Duties and responsibilities
Maintain and expand existing platform infrastructure
Implement best practice security strategies across public and internal systems
Monitor production systems availability and performance, responding to issues quickly and efficiently
Support product and engineering teams to improve product development workflows, environments and application performance
Support business teams in meeting customer compliance requirements
Continually increase production systems performance, availability and security
Proven experience deploying and maintaining high usage production systems within AWS
Experience with a variety of Linux-based application stacks (LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, etc.)
Highly proficient in managing, tuning and debugging MySQL databases
Experience setting up monitoring tools and response strategies
Exposure to a variety of vendor compliance and security requirements
Works well within a fast-paced team environment
Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
Nice to haves
Working experience with PHP, Ruby and/or other server-side languages
Exposure or experience with managing QA and testing strategies
Experience supporting sales and marketing operational infrastructures
Working experience within the healthcare technology industry
