Sr. Android Developer at Moovel Transit

The Job:

moovel North America is looking for a Sr. Android Developer to join our mobile team. This position is hands on, working within the development team and collaborating with Designers, Developers and QA to deliver world-class products to transit agencies across North America. A strong candidate should feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment and wearing many hats. This position will be based at the Company’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Design and build applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and API's
Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Other duties as required by the company
Desired Skills and Experience:

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
3+ years of software development experience
3+ years of Android development
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
