Director of Product Marketing at Auth0

This key role for further accelerating Auth0’s rapid expansion requires the ability to create strategies and execute them to both accelerate our success in existing market segments, as well as to win new ones. A successful candidate will be an experienced enterprise infrastructure software marketer. Your background as a developer, in marketing to developers, and in managing and nurturing developer communities allows you to strongly empathize with our subscribers and will help you to communicate with them as a peer. You are driven to deeply understand your audience and to find the best messaging to engage their thoughts, influence their perceptions, and drive their behavior. In this role, you’ll plan and execute product and feature launches and marketing programs, provide leadership to the teams creating content including use cases, case studies, landing pages, sales scripts, collateral and enablement tools to explain how Auth0 works (and often create parts of that content yourself), and highlight the benefits of our product to multiple audiences and channels.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Working with Auth0’s product management team to segment the market, understand different customer personas, and develop an overall marketing plan to reach, influence, and convert these audiences.
Creating the messaging and campaigns to persuade our core audiences.
Driving the creation of use cases, case studies and other collateral highlighting and illustrating the benefits of the Auth0 platform.
Coordinating and managing both internal and third party resources, such as writers and agencies, to help produce content.
Defining the structure and content of our web landing pages.
Enabling and amplifying the productivity of the inside and major account sales teams by developing sales scripts, training, and competitive intelligence.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Experience as a software developer, developer marketing manager, and developer community manager.
Deep understanding of the software purchasing processes in larger enterprises, how that is evolving into “the developer is the new CIO”, and what motivates decision makers.
Demonstrated delivery of successful marketing campaigns that have driven significant revenue growth.
Specific experience in product marketing with developer-oriented companies.
Experience in persuading budget holders like VPoE, CMOs, CTOs, and Software Architects to commit to USD six- and seven-figure commitments
Outstanding writing and messaging skills.
Experience working in highly agile companies and teams is a big plus
Proven experience in using data-driven metrics to develop, tune, and optimize campaign performance.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, independently and remotely across different time zones and cultures as part of a cross-functional, high-performance global team.
