Position Summary:

As a member of the IOTAS ‘core team’ you will be responsible for maintaining existing integrations, building out new features, helping support debug production issues on the fly, and becoming a subject matter expert on all things backend and hub related. You should be conversant in NodeJS and Java. A successful candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and be passionate about IoT and all things smart home. You must be highly committed to ensuring the quality and reliability our users expect from their smart home is consistently being met.


    Build the next generation IoT platform for smart multi-family solutions
    Create and maintain backend API services to support both internal and external customers
    Maintain and improve third party voice assistant API’s (Alexa, Google Home, Siri)
    Build and maintain software that gets distributed to edge compute devices
    Build everything with a security-first mindset
    Assist our support teams on triaging and fixing high priority bugs


    Familiar with Java and/or Node
    Comfortable debugging complex code bases
    Interacting with a relational database
    AWS experience is a plus
