This is a great opportunity for an aspiring inside sales professional who wants to learn how to prospect and generate business within direct and enterprise SaaS sales models. Our SDRs are vital to selling our IoT products and services – using cutting edge techniques. You’ll learn how to get the attention of target customers amidst all the noise by using the tools we’ll provide and the techniques we’ll teach you, along with a healthy dose of your own intuition and creativity.
At IOTAS, the SDR is a critical member of the department, feeding the all-important sales machine and working closely with Account Executives (Sales Reps) to leverage their territory knowledge, relationship building skills, and key selling strategies. You’ll report to the National Sales Manager and be measured by the quantity and quality of leads you generate, along with your flexibility, organization and attention to detail, cooperation with the team as a whole, and contribution to the overall efforts of the company.
1-3 years of work or internship experience in lead generation, sales, business, operations, marketing or related
Proven track record of achieving measurable goals
A fan of sharing the excitement of technology/IoT
An interest in Real Estate (especially multifamily) and smart home technology
Willingness to work in-office at our Portland, OR headquarters
Bonus, but not required (please be sure to let us know if your application if you have experience):
BA or BS degree
Sales Development, customer service, or account management experience (especially in tech)
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tool(s)
Cold-calling experience preferred
Flexible time off
Competitive base salary plus commission
