ERP Administrator at Bigleaf Networks

The ERP Administrator is a key member of the Bigleaf Operations Team. We are seeking an experienced ERP Administrator/Business Manager with strong knowledge of OpenERP/Odoo or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems. The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:

 
Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Internal users including Sales, Accounting, Support and Logistics as well as external business partners to develop application solutions and identify fixes needed to existing applications
  • Supports ERP system end-users with questions and issues that occur during their daily business activities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between the ERP system, payment and shipping processing vendors as well as other 3rd party integrations
  • Data administration related to Product configurations, Bill of Materials, Manufacturing orders, Inventory management, Sales and Finance-related documents
  • Assist in data transfer mapping: Data is required to be transferred to ERP from the legacy systems
  • Collect, analyze and implement reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Tests ERP layout and configuration to ensure the system is meeting organization needs
  • Develop and administer deployment test plans to ensure all scenarios are covered
  • Participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test and implement ERP system enhancements and applications
  • Monitor system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability
  • Coordinates new software releases, fixes and upgrades with 3rd party consultants and end users
  • Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met, and adhere to approved budget and deadlines
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related Technical/ Business areas or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business application system development methodology and business process re-engineering
  • Willing to adopt new knowledge to enhance business efficiency
  • Proactive, responsible and diligent
  • Able to communicate complex day-to-day issues to internal users in a professional, friendly and understandable manner
  • Logical and systematic, extremely oriented to details and methodical
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Reports to the VP of Operations
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Python code development
  • 3+ years relevant Odoo working experience as a Consultant or Odoo deployment team member
  • Demonstrated ability/ experience in implementation of major systems applications at a global SaaS-based enterprise
  • Strong customer focus and partnership abilities
  • Strong leadership skills with customer interfacing experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills, as well as organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with and present ideas and updates to senior or executive level management
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and logistics
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
