The Dyrt is the fastest-growing camping app with more campground reviews than anyone else on the Internet. We’re successfully changing the way 45+ million Americans search for campgrounds in the same way that Yelp changed the way we look for restaurants. Through user-generated reviews, The Dyrt is building an ever-expanding database of campgrounds across the country, making it easy and enjoyable for campers to find the information they need.

The Dyrt also solves the pain of authentic consumer connection for 100’s of outdoor brands. Using our nationwide community of campers, The Dyrt Rangers (200+ super users who test our partners’ products in the field), and our proprietary User Generated Content, The Dyrt provides the perfect platform for campers to find their next favorite campsite and for brands to engage with their target audience.

Who You Are

You’ll be the point person for helping us foster successful partnerships with the outdoor brands we work with. The biggest part of those partnerships is content creation, so first and foremost, you must be an experienced writer who can seamlessly transition from blogging to social media with a strong awareness of brand voice and an understanding of what their audience will like and share. But writing is just the beginning. You’ll also head the development of an ambassador program for the brand(s) you’re assigned. Efficient communication and organization will be necessary for successfully connecting the dots.

What You’ll Do

As Digital Account Manager, you will own the production and delivery of content for several different brands, through social media, blogging, and an ambassador program that you’ll build from the ground up. Ambassador programs will be modelled after The Dyrt Ranger program, in which we’ve enlisted our super-users to receive free products and review them on our site and other sites around the web. In working with our partners, you’ll be finding their most loyal customers, fostering a community through an exclusive Facebook group, and enabling those customers to produce content that is authentic and powerfully engaging. We’ve seen this approach do wonders for The Dyrt brand, and we’re excited to bring on people who can work that magic for our partners.


  • Degree in journalism, advertising, or related field
  • Background in writing and editing for blogs and social media
  • 1-2 years managing social media for a variety of brands
  • Successful implementation of paid Facebook advertising
  • Experience working with a team of content producers in developing comprehensive strategies between blogs, newsletters, social media, etc.
  • Previous management of freelancers
  • Applicant must live in or near Portland Oregon, or be willing to relocate
  • Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus!
