About the Role

To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Marketing Operations Analyst reporting to the Director of Marketing that will track and analyze the marketing team’s performance and manage tools.

The Marketing Operations Analyst will collaborate with a highly engaged team to build a data strategy and leverage analytics to uncover insights around intentions, attitudes, and motivations that drive CrowdStreet’s customer behavior. This person will collaborate across departments to ensure that we’re measuring effectiveness throughout the customer journey. They will provide technical leadership on the marketing team and will own our marketing toolset including data analytics reporting, lead generation source tracking, marketing automation, and email marketing process and optimization.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee the development of comprehensive marketing analytics strategy including our methodology, techniques, and KPIs; organize and manage reporting structure for easy access and use, leveraging Google Analytics and internal data sources

  • Optimize our marketing technology stack including HubSpot, Salesforce, Drift, including data cleanliness and integrity

  • Implement and maintain multi-channel attribution to measure marketing campaign performance across channels

  • Build, execute and test email marketing campaigns from start to finish, including building emails, landing pages, forms, tagging, and reports within HubSpot

  • Develop a framework to A/B test across all touchpoints of the customer journey including the website, nurture flows, emails, social, etc. and regularly report on the results

  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, finance, and engineering, to improve data collection for our systems & processes

  • Assist with business reporting, analytics and communicating insights within the marketing team

  • Collaborate with Sales Ops to develop and maintain critical marketing metrics, custom reports, and dashboards to enable data-driven decisions throughout the organization

  • Lead data hygiene efforts within marketing, including data cleansing, deduplication, and data normalization

  • Serve as the technical lead on the marketing team

  • Create and maintain documentation of our processes

What we must have:

  • 5+ years managing marketing reporting

  • 5+ years in marketing automation systems & process design, ideally in an eCommerce based industry (experience w/multiple platforms is a plus)

  • Analytical approach to decision making to achieve real-time performance optimization

  • Expert-level knowledge of marketing automation and analytics tools including HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics

  • Expert-level knowledge of Excel and experience with SQL

  • Comprehensive understanding of email marketing best practices to maintain list health and ensure high deliverability, as well as baseline our performance

  • Ability to conceptualize lead flows, campaign structures, and data flow between automation platform & CRMs

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, and resolve them effectively and efficiently
