Our headquarters are in downtown Portland overlooking Pioneer Square, the “living room” of the city. We offer great benefits, a fantastic culture, and a dog-friendly office. We consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, gender, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status under local, state, or federal law.

About the Role

To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, your design skills will bring our programs, events, and ideas to life. This is a rare opportunity to join a young company that is investing in brand development and is committed to consistency of message across all communication platforms.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design work across all marketing projects, including the assets for new digital marketing campaigns, print projects, core website design, and more. You’ll also be part of the team that evolves the look and feel of the CrowdStreet brand.

Please submit a portfolio of work alongside your resume and cover letter when applying for this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Conceive, create, and design projects across multiple formats including: web, print, email, presentations, and events. You’ll bring the story of CrowdStreet to our prospects, customers, and employees through your graphics skills and abilities.

  • Work closely with other teams across the company to drive alignment on our messaging through our visual representation; you’ll develop sales collateral, investor and sponsor reports and communication vehicles, and other content that reflects the CrowdStreet brand. You’ll ensure consistency of design across all creative programs.

  • Design for storytelling. You’ll create everything from digestible infographics to major reports that highlight our most relevant data and information for each audience.

  • Manage creative requirements, expectations, and timelines for all design projects. Through development of requirements, you’ll help teams experience the visual messaging while at the same time working with the team to hit deadlines.

  • As the category leader, CrowdStreet has the rare opportunity to continually evolve and refine the visual brand.  As you get to know us, our customers, and the messaging of our brand, you’ll be at the forefront of innovating and evolving our brand.

  • Use data to inform crisp and articulate design choices across all formats.

  • Bonus if you can help us produce, shoot, and edit video.

What we must have:

  • 4-5 years of design experience

  • Examples of work in diverse formats; we’re looking for someone comfortable jumping from a digital campaign to print projects and brand development

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; can prioritize work well (and take on multiple priorities at once)

  • Self-motivated and a problem solver; responsive to others

  • Strong team player that can work and execute independently

  • A comfortable communicator who integrates design feedback into content development across the company.

What is Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising or a related field

  • Experience working on consumer brands

  • Experience working in HubSpot

  • Experience with InVision, Sketch and/or Wordpress
