About the Role

To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Digital Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications that will help the Marketing team in leading execution of successful paid media and other digital marketing initiatives.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning, development and execution of the B2C & B2B paid advertising strategy and program, optimizing paid marketing campaigns through the development of testing and planning, collaborating internally to identify business goals and a measurement framework to address them, and creating processes to accomplish the digital marketing plan and meet organizational goals. This position will be measured by successfully attracting new investors and new sponsors to the CrowdStreet Marketplace. 

What you will be doing:

  • Direct and manage paid advertising programs, social media, paid search, and paid media to reach investor and sponsor targets in terms of both strategy and detailed execution across media channels; monitor conversions and results daily and implement ongoing optimization to achieve goals

  • Drive new investor acquisition and growth through digital channels; develop and execute new acquisition/customer growth strategies and tactics informed by data analysis

  • Implement campaigns with a test-measure-optimize mindset, and think about incremental ways to improve the ROI from the spend investment

  • Interpret metrics from analytic dashboards and report on trends, traffic, conversions, and overall performance 

  • Develop or partner with copywriters and the content team to develop, edit, and optimize headlines and copy on a regular basis 

  • Provide support and reporting to customers for outsourced paid media execution; interact and meet with customers as it relates to their paid media investment

  • Work cross functionally to develop and lead paid media and other digital marketing data analysis and reporting, and identify actionable insights to drive new initiatives to achieve business goals

  • Stay up-to-date on digital marketing and paid advertising strategies and trends, while continually demonstrating new tools to boost efficacy of campaigns

  • Pull together data results in a digestible manner that outlines key takeaways and recommendations and present to internal teams that drives action, improvements, and accountability.  Meet regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure data reporting model supports business needs with data, analytics, and insights

  • Work closely with Investments, Product Management and Sales teams to meet track, monitor and optimize campaigns to meet customer acquisition goals companywide and maximize performance

What we must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

  • 5+ years of functional experience in online marketing and data marketing and analysis centered around online consumer acquisition, conversion, and optimization

  • 5+ years paid advertising experience

  • 5+ years experience optimizing performance of sophisticated marketing campaigns

  • 3+ years SEO experience

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and marketing automation platform(s)

  • 3+ years experience advertising on Facebook and Google AdWords

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and experience in optimizing landing pages

  • Strong desire to learn and understand CrowdStreet’s business and the data that drives it

  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded

  • Strong track record of success in growing customer acquisition campaigns for new or established brands

  • Proven self-starter who can identify new opportunities, analyze problems and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth 

What is Nice to Have

  • Master’s level degree in relevant field

  • Fintech, investment management, and/or commercial real estate industry experience

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce.com, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager highly preferred
