The Riveter is looking for an experienced product manager to craft and collaborate with our data and technology teams to create the best user experience for our members. This person should have at least 6-8 years of experience across all aspects of product development starting from ideation through the creation and implementation of new features. This person will be based in Seattle and report to the VP of Prodcut.What You’ll Do:

  • Clearly communicate our product strategy and “selling the dream” to your team, prospective recruits, stakeholders, investors, and the Board
  • Align our product goals with The Riveter’s mission and highlight the role technology can play in realizing that mission
  • Deliver a member-obsessed UX experience that increases user acquisition and ongoing use of the app & web
  • Ensure that the roadmap ladders up to the overarching vision and strategy, and drive accountability through some sort of OKR method
  • Collaborate and align with C-suite/other department leads to develop product roadmaps that reflect business priorities
  • Build and nurture a world-class product organization, focusing on hiring and managing Product Managers while supporting the engineering and design team.
  • Ensure individual team members are clear with missions and equip them with the tools they need to do their best work, removing blockers where possible
  • Be a champion of the product vision and strategy throughout the company
  • Mentor & Teach more junior team members to understand how technology will help to scale our business

  • Have extensive experience defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps
  • Have experience with subscription based business models
  • Have experience with PHP, Java, iOS and Android apps
  • Have experience with a social networking or content driven app is preferred
  • Have understanding of how Machine learning & AI can transform our members experiences and personalize their features
  • Are entrepreneurial and risk-oriented, with an understanding of the dynamics of small, high-growth companies and an ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Are energized about solving complex, ambiguous problems
  • Possess a combination of impeccable communication skills and technical competence enable you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners
  • Are comfortable operating in a start-up environment, and ideally, have seen a product through from early-stage to scale
  • Are proficient with Google analytics and have expert analytics skills
  • Are calm and good-natured under pressure
