Executive Assistant at The Riveter

The Riveter is looking for an executive assistant to support our CEO. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience supporting an executive level leader. This role is based in Seattle and reports directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Do:

  • Providing administrative support to the CEO including scheduling, calendar management, email management, expense report management, event coordination, and travel coordination
  • Organizing logistics for, and communications with, the Board of Directors
  • Coordinating and preparing materials and support for meetings
  • Functioning as a project manager with the CEO
  • Fielding questions and being an overall gatekeeper to effectively handle the CEO’s time
  • Planning of company events and off-sites
  • Partner with the HR team to develop a range of internal communications
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading correspondences on behalf of CEO; work with the Marketing team on any speeches or questions for panel moderation or event prep
  • Develop strong partnerships within the organization and with external partners

  • Available as a resource to the CEO throughout the work day and off-hours as needed

  • Enjoy thinking on your feet and adapting to changing environments; you’re adept at creative problem solving on the fly

  • Are able to travel up to 10% of the time and occasionally work from an off-site location

  • Believe there’s no task too small to help our business succeed
  • Have a deep understanding of the CEO’s shifting priorities, and working with other Executives, to design a strategic CEO schedule that optimizes her effectiveness, keeping both short and long-term objectives in mind
  • Are calm and good-natured under pressure
  • Political experience a plus
