To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Portfolio Manager reporting to VP Investments to join our team to develop and implement investment strategies for our clients. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement commercial real estate investment strategies on behalf of CrowdStreet Private Managed Account (“PMA”) clients and CrowdStreet Investments products.

  • Develop and execute Investment Policy Statements (“IPSs”) in order to create and manage investment allocations for PMA clients, including annual reviews.

  • Determine PMA clients’ appropriate level of risk based on clients’ time horizon, risk preferences, return expectations and prevailing market conditions. Develop asset allocation recommendations for PMA clients and oversee investment manager due diligence. Participate in client meetings to identify client goals and tolerances.

  • Grow and maintain an in-depth understanding of commercial real estate market conditions, trends and overall economic outlook.

  • Serve as a member of the CrowdStreet Investments Review Committee. Contribute thought leadership to both the execution of existing CrowdStreet Investments product strategies as well as development and implementation of future strategies.

  • In conjunction with the Research Analyst, publish industry leading thought leadership content and manage the data analytics and research vendor relationships.

  • Use analytical tools, software and methodologies to research commercial real estate offerings, determine appropriate investor asset allocation and perform comparative analysis on portfolios.

  • Maintain communications with Client Service Representatives so as to stay current on investor desires, profiles and procedures.

  • Assist with preparation of presentations, portfolio/equity analyses, and proposals for High Net Worth and institutional clients and prospects.

What We Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or business related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial real estate and private investments 

  • FINRA Series 65 license 

  • Outstanding commercial real estate and investment portfolio modeling and analytical skills.

  • Detail oriented, self-starter who takes initiative and can be a part of a team.

  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and knowledge of finance concepts and processes.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple requests.

  • Ability to use independent judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality.

Not Required, But Nice to Have

  • Investor relations experience 

  • CFA Level 2 designation or above
