Product Manager at Bright.md
Portland, OR, US
We're making healthcare better! Bright.md helps primary care providers deliver remarkably efficient, high quality, delightful remote care, improving provider efficiency by as much as 90%, increasing care quality by 2x, and delighting patient and providers with a new experience of care. We're looking for a Product Manager who’s excited to join our diverse, creative, high-performing team to help us transform healthcare by growing and innovating at an amazing pace.

Much more than “telehealth”, we build products that bridge the communication gap between patients and providers, automating the remote care delivery process for clinicians at major health systems. This unique approach means that we enable a 10x reduction in cost and provider time, markedly better clinical outcomes, and major improvements in both patient and provider satisfaction.

You'll work closely with a great, cross-functional team of passionate, engaged partners and stakeholders; that includes engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales, customer success, and most importantly, patients and health system customers. You’ll shape and execute a powerful product vision, solving meaningful problems, and ship great product that truly makes a difference. We'll provide a compassionate, innovative, happy place to work, and support you in your efforts to grow. Your ideas will be valued, your efforts recognized, your growth fostered, your contributions rewarded, and your successes celebrated.

To do well in this role, you'll need to be:
Passionate, collaborative and customer-centric; You’ll become an undisputed expert on our product, stakeholders, and business, with deep knowledge of, and passion for, our customers and users - how they work, what's important to them, and how they decide to buy. You’ll make smart, strategic, well supported, and prioritized decisions, to set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You’ll own the outcomes, and not just the output, of our product work.

Persistent & persuasive; You’ll regularly push us beyond our comfort zone, with compelling evidence; constant, high quality communication; and strong collaboration - building bridges across functions, even when faced with stubborn resistance. You’ll consistently lead through insight and persuasion, rather than trying to fall back on authority.

Creative, curious; You think outside the normal product box of features to continuously solve business problems in new and better ways. You’ll need to love the process of constantly (and quickly) learning and applying new technologies to solve customer problems, reach new audiences, and enable new business models.

Innovative & experimental; You’ll need both fluency and passion around data and analytics, with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative assessment. You’ll use tools and techniques like ethnographic research, prototyping, usability testing, A/B testing, and much more, to help rapidly and effectively perform product discovery, answer holistic product and business questions.

Requirements
You’ll likely need a BA / BS with at least 6-7 years of prior experience in product leadership. Having a healthcare background is a plus, but it isn’t a requirement. We believe that talent is more important than specific training or industry knowledge. If you’ve got strong, demonstrated abilities, but have taken a different path, we’d love to hear from you.

Cultural fit is also critical. We’re looking for someone is a compassionate team member, and who won’t accept mediocrity - someone who is open-minded, actively and candidly sharing their ideas, working well in an innovative, close-knit team. Someone passionate, and driven to create something valuable, help people live better lives, and have fun along the way.
