To support our company’s rapid growth, we are hiring a Technical Sales Engineer reporting to the VP of Product to join our Product team to grow the Investment Software product offering by serving as a conduit between Sales, Services and the Product teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain the sales demo environment and process including managing demo data, custom styling, demo scripts and internal training materials.

  • Conduct technical demos by video, phone and in person as needed to assist the Sales team.

  • Conduct internal product training, including new hire training and the release of new features.  

  • Support external training via the creation of product presentations and videos.

  • Support the sales team in responding to prospective customer formal requests for proposals

  • Identify and communicate product and process improvement recommendations, escalate product issues and share win-loss insights gleaned from prospect interactions and customer engagements.

  • Support product marketing to build and update competitive insight to enhance product positioning and improve win-rates in competitive sales situations

  • Attend conferences and trade shows to demo the product with prospective customers

  • Maintain change logs capturing new features, enhancement and defect fixes in each release

  • Create in-product help content and feature guides


What We Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management, implementation, sales engineer or related role

  • Strong communication skills in particular the ability to present technical subject matters so that internal and external audience can quickly understand the product

  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, sales cycle and how to support both to successful outcomes

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with accounts in technical environments

  • Ability to travel infrequently


Not Required, But Nice to Have

  • Experience in commercial real estate industry

  • Experience in leading demos and training on a SaaS product

  • Experience creating product documentation, training materials or release notes

  • Experience developing in-product help content, self-directed guides and product documentation
